Skatepark Featured on NECN

The Conservancy’s endeavor to construct the world-class Charles River Skatepark was the topic of the New England Cable Network on April 14, 2006. Carolyn Lynch of the Carolyn and Peter Lynch Foundation, Nancy Schon, Conservancy president Renata von Tscharner, as well as local skateboarders were all interviewed. The newscast addressed misconceptions made about skaters and the importance of having this public facility. To learn more about the skatepark and to donate to this important effort visit the Charles River Skatepark section of our website.
