UPDATE Swimming in the Charles—This Sunday!Yes, it's happening! We invite you to come down to the Boston Esplanade to watch the 125 registered swimmers in the Second Annual Charles River One-Mile Swim Race! You have to see it to believe it. Tango by Moonlight over the CharlesAlso this Sunday, from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm, come dance with the Tango Society of Boston as they offer a night of short lessons and dancing on the Weeks Footbridge. Dance from sunset into the moonlight over the waters of the Charles! Volunteer Recognition NightWe invite all our volunteers and donors to a special Volunteer Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, July 9. Stewardship Program Manager Evan Moss will MC a short awards ceremony followed by the opening of the Publick Theatre's season with a free performance of Chekhov's 'The Seagull." June 5th CocktailIn a special event to recognize the contributors who helped make our recent publication of River Stories happen, the CRC hosted a celebratory cocktail party at EF. The evening included a presentation of the history of the New Basin and possible ways of enlivening this newly created civic space, which includes NorthPoint Park and the future Charles River Skatepark. Thanks to all who made it a wonderful event!
